i think you know how my mind works too well
if its a colt we ll sell it if its a filly we ll keep it as i love NORMADIC WAY! 8) 8) 8)
Garys very excited as he thinks i ve gone into race horse breeding !
but its the athleticism of the TB i m interested in
i thought about WB &
A. agood one is completely out of my price range !!!!!!!!!!!!!
B. i read if a WB looks finished at 3 it will probably be quite oldfashioned & a bit course :? ........so seeing as Billy looks nearly finished as a yearling? :? :? :? .i thought i needed a a broodmare who could keep the balance as i don t want him known for throwing cumbersome stock !!!!! :?
+ Bea is very much WB type (very big moveing filly) so it ll be interesting 8)
Sarah i hold you fully responsible for all of this!!!!!!!!!!

I am the worlds worst for making impulse decisions! If I have cash and a spare box and I see something I like I'll just send a wagon for it.... I mean you've been very sensible - you've seen it, had it vetted and are even having a little cooling off period!!! Will look forward to the photos when you get her home!

To make you feel better we bought three last year (plus Lizzie) without seeing them first. I think these days with the internet you can get a fair idea of someones background, and I like to think my impressions of people on the phone are not often wrong.

The first one, I was a little disapointed condition wise, but blown away by its movement - was it a good deal? Without a doubt.

Second one - I saw this mare on horsemart - My gut feeling was based on her breeding she was worth three times what she was advertised at! I only asked two questions - How are her feet (she's a QH) and will you sell her unseen!! The livery yard went above and beyond the call of duty to get the mare and her transport united and to keep me upto date. She was immaculate on arrival and has been an absolute joy. I still think she was bargain of the centuary.

Third one - Was exactly as I expected from the phone calls and photos - first time we saw her was after she was paid for and delivered here by her owner.

Fourth one - Lizzie - We knew she would be perfect and she was. The only surprise is how much I adore her. :D

well we re not alone as Lola s been bought unseen (except she s got a well documented showing record )
i bought my coloured hunter BRIARDALE SHERIDAN as an unseen weanling on gut instinct .......and that was the best thing i ever did :D :D
well as you say she s cheap so its worth going for! :D :D :D :D :D

I bought my palomino brood mare without seeing her, only saw a picture of her on her advert on Horsedeals, so sent the link to Sarah, she said she looked nice so i phoned up about her and within a week i had arranged transport and she was here. She was a little underweight and her feet needed a good trim and at first i couldnt catch her but now she is an angel and is looking fab.

Prob a bit different to your situations as she is 16 and has never been broken so will be used as a broodmare for the rest of her days but I dont regret buying her at all and its only since i have owned her that i have realised what good breeding she has. I had never heard of the Legend Moon stud before i bought her.

Shes an absolute sweetheart now and cant wait for the foal to arrive!
