Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I checked the computer at 12:45 and they were all sleeping. Although admit Bally was still a bit fidgety.
At last a filly and a black one - how brilliant is that.
congratulations.

I woke up at 2am with one of the girls screaming at me - got her back into bed and settled and popped into lounge to check the mares...
Bally was circling so I thought I'd better keep an eye on her. Half an hour later I was pretty sure she was about to foal but still couldn't see a bag - that box isn;t a great one for watching on cam as too far away... But then she went down and I couldn't see anything so had to run down to see what was happeneing!
Low and behold front legs and nose were out!
Beautiful filly - Lovely head on her and the longest, daintiest legs I've ever seen![/i]

Many Congratulations Sarah and Rollestone Crew.
Not quite the colour that you ordered, a lovely filly though. First one of the season, and a dainty head, with very long slim legs.
Boyzies first filly!

Huge congratulations to you all, I called it a night at 1.30,wish I'd stayed up that bit longer now. Lets hope the others now follow suit.
Can't wait to see more of her, have you got a name planned yet?

Paul I am ashamed of you - your first grandchild this year and you wouldn't answer the phone to me!
I can live without the splodges as long as it's a healthy baby and a filly is a bonus! Just means that Boyzie saved all his splodgy foal vibes for you and Chrissie!
Names - hmm no ideas at all yet - posh name to begin with B...and be suitably dainty sounding cos she really is a delicate looking flower!!

Sorry Sarah
Did not take the phone to bed with me last night. I picked the message up at 5.45am and thought best not to ring you then!
Congratulations again. I could not stop looking at her this morning.

Congratulations Sar she is stunning. I think me and Paul noticed about 6white hairs on her head this morning, she is a little cracker!
X X
PS.. Sar you could call her (as a stable name) Blossom - you said she is a flower but has to begin with a B!

Congratulations Sarah on the safe arrival of another foal, certainly not the one I would have been putting my money on! Can't wait to see some photos. I've been trying to think of a name beginning with B that is to do with a flower and the first name that popped into my head was Buttercup which clearly is not the type of name you're looking for!!!!!

The only other name I've come up with is Rollestone Busy Lizzie.... As you can probably tell I haven't got much of an imagination!

Well I can think of;
Rollestone Bounty
Rollestone Belle / Bella
Rollestone Babouschka
Rollestone Beauty
Rollestone Blejan - (cornish for flower!)
And thats about all my brain cells are stretched too!

She looks lovely .. and what long legs compared to her body!
I'm looking forward to pictures (though I guess sleep may be a priority over photography with all these mares ready to foal!)
Rollestone black orchid
Blossom
Bryony
Belthil (could be belle or bella as a short name)- a Tolkein reference to "Divine radiance"/ a sculpture of a delicate silver tree
