After sadly losing her 2008 foal Cassie is now next in line to be worked on by Stef. The plan was to back and break her in the Autumn after her baby was weaned so we have just brought it forward a few months.

Today was her first day of training...roller and bridle accepted fine and longlined round the yard ok, but not really paying full attention to stef as so much else going on in the yard...so she took her up the driveway and along the bridleway and apparently although sharper than the boys and Tif she behaved herself nicely.

Lets hope she turns out to be as sane and sensible as Tif did!

Today I got the go ahead to ride her from Stef - she is under very strict instructions that she is not to class them as ready for me until they are idiot proof! I'm such a wimp now since having had the kids!

We went out for a hack this morning with Stef on her new horse Baz, and Caroline on Obi and she didn't put a foot wrong - I thoroughly enjoyed riding her. She has a beautifully smooth trot and carries herself in a soft relaxed outline - another success story from Stef!

Which now means I have to get some nice pics of her being ridden so we can advertise her. Shame really as she is so nice to ride I'd like to keep her!

Here she is after a bath yesterday - although she's still wet so not looking that great!

I think cassie is lovely and if we had a spare stable i'd buy her like a shot, I like having youngsters to bring on, both our coloured riding horses we bought just broken.

Hope you find her a great home, it shouldnt be hard as she is such a nice mare
