Ive come to the computer just as she finished foaling. Got there just as she stood up and started nuzzling foalie. Must have all gone very well.
Loads of congratulations.

I'll say that was quick. 45 minutes after I first noticed contractions, and only 15 minutes after first lying down.
She seems quite content to have all the company, too.
And the filly just stood up completely. Not for long, but she WAS standing.
Nature is amazing.

Phew that was a quick birth. I spoke to Chris earlier, and he said "Come up 10 minutes after you see the bag". I said "As soon as you see the bag, you had better attend to her, as I know how quickly she goes once she starts".
A bright bay filly, up, drinking and has been to the toilet.
Really pleased with them both
Thank you to those who telephoned and text, apologies if I sounded short, was driving, and had to keep it short. Once again Thank you.
Paul

She foaled at a very civillised (sp)! time, thoughtful to enable you to get some sleep! She really does foal quick! Sad I missed it, just tidying up after dinner and sorting the kiddies and animals out! Typical, iam not normally that organised!! lol Then had a look on the cam, and foalie was up and about!
How many foals has she had??

This is her 4th foal.... Monarch (bay) whom I still have, and am keeping. A coloured, and a grey.
She has had 3 colts and now 1 filly.
I knew this pregnancy was different to Monarch's. I was convinced she would have the foal tonight. She ran milk for 2 days with Monarch. Something was just totally different with this foal.

Missed the birth but logged on soon after and have been watching them this am whilst I've been working - what a lovely mummy she is - very attentive - bet you are over the moon!
Reassuring that you've got a filly out of her at last.... I know that feeling when you think maybe she's a 'colt mare' LOL
Looking forward to piccies of them out and about!
Congratulations!

I think that's the most texts/cals I've ever had for a birth! Must have been the civilised hour - everyone was watching!! lol
I missed it all as was out with Stef in town but glad to hear all was straightforward - I have yet to meet the little lady but will go down later and say hello!
Congratulations Paul
