Finally managed to get Dylan out today after getting the all clear from the vet and farrier about his joints and me being paranoid about a ridiculously slight outward turn of his lower leg!

Here are a few pics of him and Lola this morning http://www.flickr.com/photos/22788020@N07/sets/72157603868410988/

I think Dylan is so beautiful.

As R&M said, the size difference is amazing. From a breeding point of view should their really be that difference, or is Dylan just a bit of bruiser.

Yep definately a big bruiser....... Lola certainly does her foals proud..... I could not believe the size of him when I saw him at a couple of hours old............ OUCH.......... Poor Lola........ She loves him to bits, and rightfully so.

Lola always has big foals and Dylan's dad is 170cm so I suppose it's inevitable that he'll be bigger than Alfie who's dad is smaller and who's mum Ari is only 15.2!

But I am really pleased with them both - now just anxiously awaiting the next....

Yep that's Lola and Dylan - and Cocoa next door.... Dylan is just so friendly - he loves attention and gives some great kisses! Lola's a bit more chilled out now too - she doesn't mind you cuddling her baby...

Alfie is a cheeky git - likes to spend time on his back legs waving his front ones about!

I am sure Dylan has doubled in size. I have just been watching him play with his mum. Jumping up and biting her head and then trying to jump all over her. She is so tolerant of him. Bet he is going to be the leader in the field.

Hi Sarah

I've just noticed that Dylan has been sold! His new owners are going to have loads of fun with him! My friend who came to visit with me really fell for him, I think if she had the space she would have liked to have him.

Hi Lesley - yes it sounds like a lovely home for him and his new mum is coming to visit him this weekend! I hope he behaves himself! She watched him being born on the foalcam so will be able to say she saw her baby being born!
