There I was last night slagging her off on facebook for wasting my fortnight off by not producing the goods- meanwhile there she was secretly spawning the 2nd ghostly baby having had no wax, no milk, no signs AT ALL that she was planning it.
Phonecall at 6.15am to ask if I knew I had a foal- cue chucking off kids into car with bannanas for breakfast and much rushing down the road.
Beautiful bold filly- lovely colour- we sat down in the stable and she came and lay in our laps!!! Placenta all passed (thank god after last times fiasco) and up,suckled, poohed and clean. Easy!!! Vet coming later to check her out as P still bleeding a bit.

She looks lovely - is it going to be a filly year? :?: :)

What about Nadja, Sar - any signs yet?

I'm now waiting for my next, Lambada, who was due 24th. very bagged up but no 'imminent' signs (mind you, that means nothing!!)

I was hoping you lot would think of a name for her....I don't want to end up with another called 'Dave', I'm rubbish at thinking of names. We have decided we should register a prefix aswell now we are onto third year of breeding- any ideas for that?!!
Mare is called Miss Pepperpot , sire is obviously Ghostie , maybe beginning with A for posh name, not bothered so much on stable name.

Vet has been and seen her and all appears well, she has lovely straight legs and is super friendly- has a little dog rug on as she was a bit cold. Mum is rather traumatised  hopefully she will pick up soon. They are staying in today as want to see mum a bit brighter and weather is pants. Hopefully they will get a few hours out tomorrow.
She looks like she may spot out more under her foal coat the hair is white on the face and neck aswell as the body, but she is pretty enough as she is! Beautiful little head-P always stamps pretty heads on her babies. :D

Not sure about a prefix, whats the name of your house/stables/farm/surname/kids initials ect...?
My fav 'A' names are Authentic, Assortment and Athena, but iam sure you will think of something that really goes with her friendly attitude. Hope Pepper feels better soon.
