Oh dont remind me im a nervous reck already as this is the first foal i have bred lol, my mares udder is still up and down full bag in morning and is a bit smaller when she comes in for the night, theres a little bit of softness around the tail croup area, had a phone this morning from one of the girls who works there with me saying shes dripping clear fluid from hers teats but when i got there its was only clear and coming out when i touched it. should my mares boobs feel like play dough (when i touch them the stay in that place) its only arond the underneath of the teats, im not sure if they i supossed to be like as have not had a pregnant mare before. We are having the vet out tomorrow for flu jabs so i will get him to have a look at her boobs if there is any thing wrong hopefully we will have caught it on time , i will keep you posted.
THE RACE IS ONE LOL :D

Thank you all for the congrats im a very proud gran ha ha.
No more foals due and none for next year. :(
Just started back this year after 15 years away and wanted one foal to make sure it was what i really wanted. Trying to be sensible in my old age. My colt wont be ready until next year to cover and the new one well thats three years. The section C market can be rather specialised and in the current climate wouldnt be a good idea to breed unwanted foals and certainly not good for my finances. I intend spending the rest of this year breaking and schooling the mares i have. Need to sell my motor home so that I can buy a lorry and get these ponies out to show them. We also need to do some work on the land to improve the quality of grass to feed the expanding family which is now stands at 6. Tis a lot of work for an old girl on her own but yeaaaaaaa I love every minute of it.
If i could have found a section C stallion local with outstanding bone i may have covered 1 mare this year but there just isnt anything that I know of.
Looking forward to hearing about all your new arrivals very soon. Sarah how many have you got foaling this year?
