Yay! Yes I'm Sallies daughter! Does that make me famous or imfamous!!! LOL!!! I'm a clone of my Mum it has to be said!!!
Thanks for the nice comments about my mare - last year I fell in love with Rollestones chestnut filly, Rollestone No Regrets and the skewbald mare Centyfield Cascade but my budget just didn't stretch that far for either of those two and whilst I was sulking about that Ella came along!

Although I like having youngsters to break and bring on I needed something that was part project and able to teach me at the same time... I love my flat work and thought I was a dressage diva in the making but whilst I had a fat hairy carriage horse on loan I discovered that I liked jumping and Ella is an over-excitable schoolmistress with the jumping!!

So I'm re-educating her on the flat work and she's re-educating me on trotting poles and ickle 1'6" jumps but I know she's dying to get over 3'!! She just loves her jumping!!! I used to be able to jump without stirrups when I was a kid but now... The other half who used to jump BSJA has told me "Not to run before I can walk" and will not allow me to jump unless he's there and makes me do the trotting poles!!! I sulked about this and felt quite cross because I want to do so much more. Then Mum gave me a video camera

It was a shock to say the least when I watched myself riding!!!

I now feel that my riding is totally rubbish but then I have to remind myself that I do get the end result so it can't be that bad!!! LOL!!! If only we could all ride like Carl Hester, the Whitackers, William Fox-Pitt, Mary King etc etc etc... Keep dreaming Moodymare!!!!!!
Anyway, I don't think it needs to be said, I'm completely head over heels with Ella! She's just turned 10 years old and I think we have a long life with lots and lots of fun ahead of us!
I'm hoping that one day I will have transport and can bring Ella with me when I come to visit Mum then we can ride out together in all my old haunts!
