Hey! I'm Chloe and i'm 18 and shall (hopefully) be going to Exeter university this October. I got the website of Rollestone Farm after i emailed Exeter University Riding Club enquiring about local stables as i am bringing my horse Indie to uni with me :) (i cannot bear to leave her behind) anyway thought i join this as i have no idea about any stables or anything down in Exeter so thought i may be able to get any questions answered here :)
well here is my 15.3 tricoloured mare Indie. I have had her nearly 2 years and she turnt 6 this summer.

Hey, welcome to the forum! I graduated from Exeter uni last year and although I have moved home now I love love love Exeter and am happy to answer any questions about the uni or horsey things in the local area!

Indie looks lovely, really great photos there especially the jumping ones! Thanks for adding them.

Good luck with your exam results and getting into Exeter, what are you hoping to study?

Lovely horse!

I took my horses to Uni in Norwich with me too - no way I could leave them behind. So don't blame you. Where in London are you now? I live central and keep my horses in Surrey.

did you find it okay having your horse with you whilst you was at uni?

i live sort of in the outskiirts of London - in Kent, but at the top so almost in south london! i keep my horsey in the next town along from mine which is quite easy. Does it take you a while to get to your stables!?

Enjoy the tour of Devon livery yards next week!!

I found it fine and no trouble at all having Bob with me at uni. Rollestone is a 3min drive from one side of campus - really easy to get to, can even walk if feeling energetic (up a big hill [like most of Exeter!!], takes around 30mins). My timetable was really good and gave me a morning or an afternoon off most days in the week so I always rode every day. It was especially good that he was on grass livery so I could check him any time and be very flexible. I expect part livery would have worked equally well - I'd only have doubts about being on DIY and having to go to the yard early after an night out/before lectures. I know in 'real life' people with jobs have to deal with this but it might spoil the student lifestyle!!!!!
