I have been watching the site for a while and thought i would join the forum, I saw Amelie at a few hours old what a gorgeous filly :)
I live in west sussex

I have a Filly called Solly who will be 2 next month, i have had her since she was 5 months old she is a true bay Belguim Warmblood x TB who should mature to about 16hh. I am on the look out again for another foal this year as i have loved every minute we have been together and she is such a laid back girl.

Hi sarah
Solly is a really good girl although i wouldn't say that today, she decided she did not want to pick her back feet up for me to pick them out and caught me on the elbow.
The yard is new, it opened in October and i was the first one to move in, it's very local to me and is work in progress so to speak. They have lovely big stables and lovely grazing with fantastic hacking. I have already put the deposit on the stable for my next youngster i buy. Solly lives out 24/7 and i have the stable so i have got somewhere to bring her in to and handle her or if the weather is really bad.

Fran B i am just outside Horsham, I was supposed to show Solly last year but she decided to jump out of the field at the old yard i was on and ended up in a field of sheep 3 miles away  and in the process cut her back legs with barbed wire so that was that out of the window. I moved her to a new yard in October and in November she had a deep hock wound not sure how she sliced it but £1300 vet bill later she is healing nicely (luckily she is insured) so although she has a few scares the hair is growing back black i want to get her out just for the experience if nothing else.

sarah J I love the yard and would love to have it as my own then i could fill it with lots of horses.

I originally wanted a blanket spot knabstrupper filly and that is what i would have brought if i had brought one myself and may still buy this year, but my husband brought Solly as a suprise for my 16th wedding anniversary and she is lovely and i certainly wouldn't be without her :)
