I feel that a comment should be made re the purchase of Khama. Like someone has already stated it would be nice to receive foals when they have been weaned as everyone have there own ways of bringing horses up. Kharma could not be transported to his new home until he had paperwork so it is not the fault of the new owner. He was intended as a stallion so needed to have KNN paperwork, which i still believe has not yet arrived. The horse is being sold at Sarah for the new owner due to unforseen circumstances. Kharma should be easy enough to sell what ever his age due to his colour and breeding.

its none of my buisness , i don t know you but i do know Sarah .the delays in Karma s paper work would have not been Sarah s fault ,and it would have been totally out of her control the speed in which it got resolved ( i only feel i can comment as i ve been in that situation myself and it s very frustrating!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad ....so i also understand the frustration & distress it would have caused you Rolling Eyes ) but Sarah would have been working damned hard to get everything resolved i am 100% confident of that and she s a very genuine & caring person who breds top quality youngstock who are nertured with loving dedication far beyond you d find in most studs . paper work can get delayed Rolling Eyes .....i ve been waiting 2 months for a passport back from straight forward overstamping Confused and it took me over 18 months to get a covering cert., for my colt to be able to register him Evil or Very Mad ,but surely good horses are worth th wait ? ....they don t come along every day . i ve collected weanlings & the paper work has followed in nearly every case .......so that option was open to you if you d wanted a weanling ?. i m sorry you obviously feel let down but i can only promise you that you won t have been messed about on purpose and the colt you fell in love with as a foal is just as stunning now and there is nothing you can t undo or redo now than you could have originally done as a weanling Very Happy so please don t think badly of Sarah Karma s wellbeing would have been her priority throughout HONESTLY .

I am not putting the blame on Sarah at all i know she has done her best. It goes alot deeper to why i can no longer have Kharma so am totally devistated, i had high hopes for him and if i could do something i would but it is ompletely out of my control.

I always got the impression from the way Sarah has readvertised him that it was no-one's fault the sale fell through. I guess the assumption is always with the buyer, but I haven't heard anyone bad mouthing on here.

I hope you find another one like him (with all the paperwork in place) as I'm sure your gutted. Good luck with the search. And I guess we'll all keep our fingers crossed that Kharma finds another lovely person who wants him.

Its not because of the paperwork that im not going through with the purchase of Khama it goes much deeper than that.

tiptoeblueroya - I hope everything works well for you IF you are searching for another horse and as for Kharma he will be found a lovin and caring home Sarah wont let him go to just anyone. Sometimes things just arent meant to be and this is obvoiusly one of those situations,

Best Wishes

Kate

This whole delayed paperwork problem with Kharma highlights the need for a UK Knabstrupper Society... A lot of the delays would have been preventable had there been some English paperwork and information! So hopefully this lengthy wait for a passport won't be an issue in the future!

Sometimes people's circumstances change and hard decisions have to be made which is unfortunate. But fingers crossed we will find a new home for the boy very soon - hopefully to someone who will happily post pics of him as he grows up so we can see him as matures! Smile

Hi sarah,

I dont know if you remember me i was the one that had bought Kharma but then had to put him back up for sale. GOOD NEWS I have been able to resolve the problem so Kharma will be coming to his new home as soon as i can arrange transport as he has his passport aswell. I have high hopes for this lad and i am hoping to show him in sportshorse classes. He will eventually stand at stud too. Anyway thought i would update the situation.

Yep much to Lissy's disgust (she has decided Kharma is HERS!) he will be off to his new home soon. I had to placate Lis by reminding her there were lots more babies on the way!
