colt foal sorry, had just got in from bottle feeding him because he was too hungary to get it out of her. but all good now thank god i can sleep now i have been awake for 50+ hours

how would i beable to guess how big he will make? as in all the books i have they say the foal is born at 60% of it adult height is this true or can they grow more now he is out. as mare is 15.1hh and sire is 16.2hh but according to the books he will only make 14.3hh

don t worry my friend who breeds ridding ponies when he 1st saw Springo at 4 1/2 months thought i d been done & said i d be lucky if he made 14hh .......well hes now 2 & touching on 16hh!!!!!!!!!so they do grow on! :wink:

he is so lovely. Obviously VERY friendly and will look so smart when his coat comes through, judging by the colour around his eyes.

my little lad is 5 also - in fact he would quickly correct me and say he was actually 5 and 3/4!
i really must get a nice photo of him with Valdi, but spend so much time photoing (??) the hosses forget poor Benji!! he is just as handsome, and just as fond of rolling in mud!
