Thought I'd do an update on the other 2005 foal we still have here (other than Inde I mean)

Saff is by Hamlet and out of Megan and is rising 3 this year but is a late baby so we are not doing much with her just yet. But Lauren has been doing some work with her, just gently longlining her around the farm and getting her used to being a cilvilised pone after years out 'wild' with the others!

She is looking quite mature for her age and is currently 15.3 at the withers and 16hh at the bum so becoming a useful size

Here is a picture of her last week




And a couple of days ago we decided to try her over a fence...

i ve been puzzling over something with BEA ( my solid chestnut filly ) and i can see exactly the same on Saff lighter legs than body ? BEA has 3 white socks and her other fore leg looks like its got a "GRUBBY" sock ? Rolling Eyes

I see what you mean about the lighter legs - not quite a sock - but almost!!

Stef has strted hacking Saff out now... Here are some pics that Kate took the other day the first time Stef sat on her.







She hacked up the driveway on her own 10 minutes or so after Sef first sat on her - what a good girl!
