I, too don't want to see the little'un get hurt. Sammi doesn't seem to know what to do and the filly is doing her best.

Looking much better this morning. Saminca is letting her have a drink without too much fuss. Congrates Rollestone team.

Sat glued to foal cam last evening. Worried all night about Saminca and her foal. Tuned in again first thing this morning and saw foal trying to suckle and Saminca moved away each time. Still worried.

So very, very relieved to tune in this afternoon to see foal suckling okay.

Phew!! :)

Julie.

She's fine - vet has been out to check her over as she has slightly contracted tendons but says she will be fine after a week or so of limited exercise... hence her staying in!
