Permanent experienced knowledgable loan home awaits for a 14hh to 15.3hh horse. Any age. Must be safe in traffic, good to catch, load, clip and with the farrier. To hack, do pleasure rides and have lots of fun! Preferrably cob x, but anything considered if suitable. Loan home with stable and turnout and company of a yearling arab filly awaits.

Where abouts are you based and would you go for somthing bigger (but current owner is 5ft nothing!) if it were a saint of a horse?!

Its for my friend shes based in Exeter. She would go for bigger if well behaved. She currently has a 16.3hh TB thats raced and she is a fruit loop and my friend is only 5ft!!

My friend is wanting to loan out her hanovarian x thoroughbred, he is about 17hh (maybe even a touch bigger), chestnut, 12, bombproof sensible hack and easy to do in all ways, has lived out last 2 years and is easy to keep- he has hardly been ridden in the past 12 months but when ridden after a 6 month break he was a complete saint (unlike my little sh*te who had not had 6 months off!!), pm me if you want her number.

Can you give me more details please? My friend is a really really good rider, but like i say she is only 5ft so dunno how she would cope with a horse that size. Do yuo have any pics?

His owner is 5ft nothing and tiny tiny slim and she has had him for about 8 years without problem, she has done showjumping etc with him. I have never ridden him but have seen him ridden and ridden out with him and he has always been a complete sweetheart, he is a big horse though so needs to know who's boss on the ground, with firm handling he is fine, he went out on loan though to some people who let him get away with anything and he got quite pushy with them but was fine within a week of being home. He can be quite bossy in the field but has been out with foals/mares without problem. He currently lives out, rugged and on just haylage/grass and looks lovely.

He is with my lot so just outside of plymouth, takes me about 35 minutes to get to rollestone from here , just to say she wants him to go on long term loan (at least 1 year) as she is pregnant.

Unfortunately I rode him to show to some prospective loanees, and now I am going to have him!! He's definately very big- a lot bigger then my 16.2- so maybe would of been too much anyway.

Thats fine, i have spoken to her this morning and she is not going to get another horse, she is going to concentrate on the horse she already has.
