Hello

Have been here a while and suddenly saw the introduction page. I have a stud farm (Treliver Stud) now based near Leighton Buzzard. I have mostly Hanoverian or Oldenburg mares and two stallions.
My old stallion Kensons Aragorn is a RID and I bought him as a yearling, he is now 20 and is fit as a flea and enjoying being a riding horse with a friend.
My young stallion is Treliver Decanter and I bred him, hoping for a chestnut colt he came out pink Shocked He soon changed to palomino, fortunately, as a pink stallion was not on my wish list! He is the love of my life and I adore him. I can't wait for him to start competing (Ulrik says he will be out any time now).
I have 6 foals due to him this year and have bought some very nice mares from Germany to put to him for 2009 foals.
I still have Decanter's mum here, she is now 25 and I think this may be her last summer. Sad
I worked for the Health Service for 30 years whilst running the stud but have now given up work to concentrate on the horses.

Lauren I'm sure you have heard of the stud - I've shown you their website - lots of gorgeous pictures of some stunning foals - it's where Treliver Decanter lives - I think the website is http://www.treliverstud.co.uk/

Gill what camera have you got? I want to upgrade my Nikon D50 to a D300 but can't afford it at the mo!

Sarah

I've got a Canon EOS 40D with a 90-300mm lens, its great 6 frames/sec really easy to use. It has inspired me to go back to Photography and I might even do a Diploma over the winter for interest.
