Congrats on finding him a good home - I wanted him really but circumstances wont allow at the moment.... But glad my girls half brother is going to do a job - are they thinking of keeping him entire as well?

Hi Claire,

He may get to cover their one TB mare when he is older but ultimately, no, he will be gelded.

How is Elfi doing now - due soon isn't she?

Elfi - is great, such a cool character. Due tomorrow but I think she'll be hanging in for another week or two! She wasn't even supposed to be having a foal this year - she was supposed to be backed this year and covered - but no, she got through three fences to join the stallion - I cant even blame him it was all her doing, he respects the electric, she backs away from it and then takes it on at a flat out gallop (its quite funny to see)! She looks great anyway and only just looks in foal so hopefully all will go well, but I really like them to wait until they are three before they are covered..
