Hi all
My name's Fran, I used to keep my horse Paddy at Rollestone on retirement livery, which is how I know about the website. Each year at this time I keep an eye on the website as the babies are SO gorgeous, but this year I have become totally addicted! Kachina cam has occupied my thoughts more than very much else for the past two weeks!

A quick update for anyone who remembers my gorgeous boy, I rehomed him due to financial reasons which is why he left Rollestone. He went to a lady as a companion, but then I found it that she had sold him to someone who wanted to jump him! I was very angry and upset, but was honest with his new owner that he had been retired because he was, basically, a loon!! She decided to send him to a friend to be "re-broken" (at 22) and he died while he was at their yard. Very, very sad but she tells me he went instantly so I have to believe her and take some comfort from that.

Anyhow, that's me! Looking forward to chatting to you all soon.
Fran x

Hi Fran

Welcome to the forum.. I remember Paddy well, he was a lovely boy and am very sorry to hear what happened to him. Do you know what he died of?

I remember when you used to come and visit him and you used to bring him down biscuits, was it ginger ones he liked??

LoL Kate well remembered! Fran used to bring ginger biscuits down when she came to visit him!! Paddy loved them!

Sorry to hear about your old boy Fran - that is so sad - what a blatant betrayal of your trust from the person you rehomed him to.

Very sad
