No Regrets aka Saff!

Postby Sarah on Fri Feb 29, 2008 10:59 am

Thought I'd do an update on the other 2005 foal we still have here (other than Inde I mean)

Saff is by Hamlet and out of Megan and is rising 3 this year but is a late baby so we are not doing much with her just yet. But Lauren has been doing some work with her, just gently longlining her around the farm and getting her used to being a cilvilised pone after years out 'wild' with the others!

She is looking quite mature for her age and is currently 15.3 at the withers and 16hh at the bum so becoming a useful size

Here is a picture of her last week

And a couple of days ago we decided to try her over a fence...

I see what you mean about the lighter legs - not quite a sock - but almost!!

Stef has strted hacking Saff out now... Here are some pics that Kate took the other day the first time Stef sat on her.

She hacked up the driveway on her own 10 minutes or so after Sef first sat on her - what a good girl!

Saff passed a 5 stage vetting today with flying colours and will be going off to her new home near Barnstaple on Friday all being well. She is going to live with a lovely family, with a little girl the same age as Lissy - so she and my 2 have been playing while her mum has been trying Saff! lol

Im glad she has bought Saff - she is a lovely lady and adores Saff and she sounds like she is going to a really nice place and by the sounds of it she has a home for life. Im sure her and Saff are going to make a fab team!

Will miss her though :(
