hi i only go to Bridgend county , as i think alot of the show secetary & she works endlessly to keep it going & maintain COUNTY status Cool

......but i find it the most stressful show of the year Confused

....always completely disorganised as i just can t moivate myself Confused

.
mixed results pretty pleased as i really do find this one more ofa "duty" attendance to support our local show Rolling Eyes

Springo won his open youngstock P(UK)/BSPA qual. class Very Happy

( pink sash ! Confused

)so now qualified for P(UK)...BUT already going to CHAPS & BSPA champs so i doubt funds will stretch to the extorionate(spelling Confused

)stable fees P(UK) charge Sad

....but i an already a member Rolling Eyes

so maybe!

then went in open horse qual . class but threw a wobbily at cobs doing thier gallop in the ring next to us so 4th Cool

SHB (GB) yearlings Springo still like a complete loony tune Embarassed

....so wasn t looking forward to "THE TRIANGLE" Confused

.....but as unpredictable as he is Rolling Eyes

.....i fear the worst & he was a saint! Laughing

Bill was a bit of an AR*EHOLE ! Embarassed

.....ONLY 2 CAME FORWARD IN 2YEAR OLDS Shocked

i put thier decline in manners today down to them being on "home truff" thier field is only 10 mins away from the show round Wink

.....also both me & Gary hate competing there & they probably felt us a bit stresy Wink

please God let thier manners return for the Royal Welsh

i m a member of all 3 societies/association since start 2008 season (which is costly! Rolling Eyes

)the primary reason for joining is the Champs (winter & summer Cool

....as we meet up with all our friends every year Cool

).ut when i rang P(uk) ALTHOUGH Rolling Eyes

i ve got a signed BSPA 2008QUAL CARD .....A SIGNED P(UK) 2008COMMANCHEE CARD ......& A SIGNED CHAPS 208 QUAL CARD . i cannot enter the CHAPS FINAL AT P(UK) AS I DIDN T GET A SIGNED P(UK) CHAPS CARD ! Rolling Eyes

so i m not entering £250+ for 1 class ( an open any age any height class ! Shocked

)is slightly OTT by anyones standards !
there was no Welsh P(UK) WINTER QUALIFIERS THIS YEAR EITHER , NO WELSH BSPA "STAR" SHOW , NO WELSH CHAPS REGONALS ! so lots of champ finals we re excluded from as we never had the opitunity to qualify within our region! Evil or Very Mad

NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

you throw money every year at these societies but living up North is a massive advantage ,venues are closer , qualifiers most weekends Rolling Eyes

Hi I was in the college on the wednesday before and saw them setting up for the show.

I would loved to have gone but with work and agility training on the weekend I was unable to make it!

Are you going to the Pembroke County show next month?

Im there for three days competing in the agility comp and poss entering my dog into the showing comp as well, if your there I will try and come over to say hello.

Your horses are looking fantastic!

You going to Dorset County at Dorchester?? Is that the first weekend in September (or am i thinking of something else!!) If it is, I will try to come and say hi, I haven't been for a few years but its not very far away from me and I like to be nosey! Iam also going to 'the Shaftesbury and Gilingham show', I did the workers there a few years ago and as its 5 mins down the road - why not?? (its on the 20th i think of August).
Anyway, you really do sound like you will be busy - best of luck and i look forward to reading more sucess stories in H+H!

We're not going to PUk either this year, too expensive.

Might see you at Chaps championships though as even if I dont take Cleio I will try and pop up to watch.
And we should be at the SHB National hunter show too on the Wednesday with Portia.
