SOLD TO A LOVELY NEW HOME Very Happy Very sadly selling our beautiful Weltmeyer mare Winnie. Head studbook passported German Hanoverian. She is a full up 16.2hh 8 year old proven broodmare with a fabulous pedigree, excellent conformaton and beautiful expressive head. She has had two foals to date by Hotline and Quaterback.

Winnie's sire, the great stallion Weltmeyer, needs no introduction. He was 1998 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year and has produced many graded sons, performance offspring and high priced horses. Winnie's dam sire is Bogenschuetze who is by the foundation stallion Bolero, sire of the famous Brentano. The Weltmeyer /Bogenschuetze cross has produced the dressage horses Wild Wild West and Wandango and is in the dam line of the fabulous new stallion, from Paul Schockemöhle's stables, Sarkozy by Sandro Hit. Bogenschuetze also features in the dam line of Greenoaks Dundee.

Winnie is an easy breeder and scanned in foal at first attempt to the Premium Approved Knab stallion Xhogun Middelsom for a spotted Knabstrupper foal in May 2009.
Xhogun is a 16.2hh fewspot so the foal will be guaranteed some form of spotted pattern. His sire has produced International dressage horses and this foal will be a very exciting prospect.

Winnie is a super broodmare or could be backed for a fab dressage horse. She is sound and easy to load, catch, farrier etc. She is a very sweet mare and lovely to have around.

SOLD SOLD

Her Quaterback foal at foot is available seperately although maybe retained by the stud. Can't make up my mind as probably keeping the foal that is due anyday now. Decisions decisions ohhh Laughing

Noooo Weltmeyer is my favourite stallion of all time and the Bolero line is pretty fantastic too. I am sure she will be snapped up (by me if I win the lottery)

Hi
I am undecided about the market at the minute. Don't worry too much. I have interest in Winnie and I am just dropping her price to get her sold. I probably should not be dropping her price so soon but instead getting good pics, videos & put her in H&H but I am very short of time at the minute and it is not a priority Very Happy I just want a good home for her.

Maybe try advertising your guy somewhere completely different. I once had a mare advertised on the Internet and not one enquiry. Put her in H&H, had 10 enquiries by Sat & she was vetted & sold by Tuesday! You never know - it can be strange Very Happy

Thanks Sarah J Very Happy Very Happy I have added a video of her although not very good as really of the foal
http://www.blacklaw-stud.com/horses%20for%20sale.htm

I know she is cheap but we are quite far North so it helps with transport price these days Smile That is another moan. Major oil producer in Europe & our petrol is the most expensive. How can that be Question Not to mention the same thing with Gas Rolling Eyes
