I agree with Sue! I had a LOT to do with Kharma when he was at Rollestone, so you cannot say it is nothing to do with us!
Horses are like chocolates.. you can never just have one!!

I have to say I agree with Sue in that I can't see anything derogatory in the posts at all, just people saying how well he's looking!

kharma

Postby tiptoeroyalblue on Wed Oct 15, 2008 3:08 pm

dont mind if you follow his progress, but previous mention re the amount he is up for sale for is my concern and no-one elses. I will let you into a secret i am not too bothered if he sells as i think he will be great when older as i want to do dressage and SJ with him but must sell something as i have collected too many. Hence the high price.

TTRB - I still think you are upsetting yourself unnecessarily.

This is a Rollestone forum, where people interested in the horses they breed discuss them. For many of us Kharma is such a stunning example of what Sarah has produced.

He is advertised on a public horse sale site, so his price is no secret and being such a distinctive lad is very easy to spot. Again I would read from the comments that they are all proud he is worth so much and respect to yourself for all the obvious good work you have done with him. If you want/need to sell him for whatever reason is of no consequence. People here are only commenting on what you have chosen to publish.

For the record I have never been to, nor met anyone from Rollestone, so this is purely a personal opinion.

TTRB of course its no one elses business what you do with your horses, however due to kharmas public birth (which we all enjoyed sharing) we are just interested in monitoring his progress and watching the handsome chap grow up.

He is a stunning horse which Sarah should be very proud of breeding and you be very proud of owning. No malice was ment by anyone on this forum, there really is no need to be defensive. we are all very friendly on here, and I am sure I speak for everyone in wishing Kharma every luck for the future, wether that be with you or in a new home.

Kharma

Postby tiptoeroyalblue on Thu Dec 04, 2008 7:54 pm

:D Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well and you are nearly ready for Xmas which is nearly upon us. Just to let you know that i am sorry i got a bit tetchy last time but hadnt had very good news re my father so I think I just blew a gaskit. Anyway Kharma was turned out to mature at the end of the summer which he did. He has come back a much better man he now stands at 15.1hh at 18months old so has shot up but know needs to fill out a bit again. I will be taking some more photos of him shortly as soon as the weather improves a little.
He has been brought back in now to start his education more and get him ready for his stallion grading 2009. Oh and yes i did have quiet a few enquiries after him but didn't feel they were appropriate homes so I couldn't part with him. So for the time being is staying here. Watch for the photos.

Hi Jacquie - glad to hear you still have the spotty bum (as my children call him!) 15.1 - he is going to be a big boy then! His half brother or sister is not far off arriving - Kossette is due again in about 11 weeks!

Look forward to seeing pics of him when you get a chance!

great news, although it seems hard to believe that the little lad is ready for stallion grading - in my mind he is still a little fluffy baby. Really looking forward to the pics, especially as he is the same age as my 2 yearlings. Dex is also 15.1 but totally out of proportion - all head and neck but the rest hasnt caught up yet.

Sorry about your Dad and hope life is improving now. Have a great christmas and get that camera out.
