Kate, if I had ponies that looked liked that I'd take pictures every day

Looking at the head on of Luci, are you sure she's not pregnant again? She's the same shape as me (and no I'm not pregnant either!!!).....

Toby really is something special and you totally deserve to be as proud as you are...any plans to go to any shows?

Well, Luci was pregnant to Inde on the first 28 day scan and then i had the vet out to scan her at 52 days and she had lost it! She definately has a 'mum tum' but i am 99% sure she is not pregnant!! I would love to take him to some shows next year, but dont have any transport :( . PLlns for Luci are to very very lightly work her (long lineing and lungeing) when Toby is weaned, to get some top line on her and then get her out and about before she has the next foal! Luci has NEVER been ridden and is 17 years old now so cant really break her in but she will be ok with VERY light lungeing.

Thanks for kind comments on them.

Toby looks gorgeous! and very grown up in is bridle.

I think, Sarah, you will be disappointed on the 'warming up enough for a bath' front - quite the opposite by the look of the forecast.at least once you get them all clean, if it's freezing, they should stay clean. got to be better than mud, mud, glorius (not!) mud!

Out of interest which show you all going to? Is it local?

and of course, Good luck all!!!

It's at Poltimore on the 7th... SWPA Winter show...You could bring your new boy? (Although not in Flash's class...ha ha!!)

i can t believe they re still running that class like that   .......i was a member for a couple of years & tried very hard to get them to realise that "Coloureds" where now a serious showing class not a novelty class  ........i gave up !& that was 3 years ago !
they ran good Hunter breeding & Sports horse classes though 8) :D

Toby looks great Kate!
Good luck all of you at the show!

Where I work is BHS exam centre and we have had exams regularly throughout the winter for which the horses have to be very clean. I now swear by babywipes for removing stable stains and grubby bits on the body that you wouldn't want to bath in the cold weather!
